  • PACC facilitates seasonal celebrations, events, and performances to showcase the work of the community, and offers weekly and monthly workshops on Persian music, poetry, visual arts, and discussions on many other cultural subjects.
  • The Persian-American community has grown and expanded over the last ten years, and we hope to continue its growth until an umbrella organization, including all individuals and cultural groups under a strong and inclusive is established in the metropolitan areas of the capital of USA. This is our dream cultural center for the large Iranian community in the region, and we may call it symbolically the " SIMOURGH CULTURAL CENTER" or " فرهنگسرای سیمرغ "
  • PACC supports, inspires, and encourages the next generation of musicians, singers, and artists, and cultivates the power of art and music to connect people across different cultures and backgrounds.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are necessary and extremely helpful for a healthy community. People from all walks of life donate their time and effort to various causes, day and night, every day of the year. In a human services setting, agency clients and program participants usually can’t distinguish between volunteers and paid staff, unless nametags make those designations.

The more connected to a community people feel, the more likely they are to take responsibility for the community and feel pride and a sense of commitment. Mobilizing community resources and expanding capacity through volunteers also enhance an organization’s general profile, which can attract more volunteers, program participants, and funds.

Many ways volunteers can help us.Are you passionate about membership? join our Board of Directors, a Committee as an Advisory, Fundraising, Planning events, Recruiting volunteers?  become more intimately involved with the success of the PACC.
